Mogul Crush- Tracey Edmonds

Mogul Crush: An extraordinary, powerful person who is doing great things in business and entrepreneurship who we think is doing prominent work in their particular industry.

“Live without fear! Face your fears and see them as an OPPORTUNITY for strength and growth.  You’ll see, once you face them, they disappear”.—Tracey Edmonds

It’s no wonder we chose to acknowledge Tracey Edmonds as our Mogul Crush. She has overcome fears that would have halted her growth as an independent entrepreneur but she has persevered through them all and is now a prominent figure in-front and behind the camera.

Tracey Edmonds is dynamic in stature and her resume and accolades extends far and wide. With 20 years of entertainment industry experiences across various platforms, she has solidified her position in producing successful television, film, music, and digital media projects.  She is the President of Edmonds Entertainment; CEO and President of Alright TV; and an Emmy award-winning Co-Host of Extra TV.

Tracey Edmonds continues to amaze us with her ability to juggle the many hats she puts on daily. Adding to her already full roster of responsibilities, Tracey is one of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s boardroom advisors on The New Celebrity Apprentice, and the host of BET’s competition reality show Queen Boss. Additionally, Edmonds has chaired the Producers Guild of America’s (PGA) annual Celebration of Diversity gala for 3 consecutive years, where she is also on the Board of Governors.  She also serves on the Board of Trustees for the American Film Institute (AFI); and she serves as a Global Ambassador for CARE.

A Stanford University graduate, Edmonds holds her own weight and is a force to be reckoned with in this industry. She has won numerous awards for her contributions to the entertainment industry.  In an interview with Ebony Magazine, Tracey was quoted saying, “I’m just very blessed that I’ve had a very cool career and I’ve been able to produce quite a few TV shows and movies.  I had a management company. I had a record label. I keep challenging myself on the career front to expand my horizons, doing what I love to do”.

We celebrate the accomplishments of our very own Mogul Crush, Tracey Edmonds.  She is the epitome of everything we as women face on a daily.  She is proof that with perseverance and using the gifts, talents, and opportunities placed before us as a stepping stone into our greatness, that we can accomplish anything.
